Health Disparities Transformational Summit

Health Disparities Transformational Summit

Save the Date: October 7, 2024

The inaugural GRAAHI Health Disparities Summit was a resounding success and featured keynote addresses from renowned experts, breakout sessions on a variety of topics, and networking opportunities for attendees to connect.

Here is a summary of some of the key takeaways from the summit:

  • Health disparities are a complex problem with deep roots in our society.
  • There is a need for a multi-sectoral approach to addressing health disparities, involving government, businesses, community organizations, and individuals.
  • Social determinants of health, such as income, education, and housing, play a major role in health disparities.
  • Data and research are essential for understanding and addressing health disparities.
  • We all have a role to play in creating a more just and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy life.

GRAAHI is committed to continuing the work that began at the summit. We are launching a Health Disparities Task Force to bring together stakeholders from across the community to develop and implement solutions to address health disparities. We invite you to join us in this important work and join us in 2024.
