FAQs

What grade levels are Legacy Pacesetters?

Legacy Pacesetters are post-secondary students. That means they are current college students or students in a certification program.

Our recruitment process happens in the fall of each academic year if you are going to a university or college, and our certificate programs are on a rolling basis.

We have capacity to serve 10 students per institution. That means our program has a mix of first years, sophomores, juniors and seniors in our program.

We offer students at least two programs each semester, a check in with your site coordinator, professional development and career coaching, tutoring, mentorship, and networking opportunities. All of these events are to support your preparation for the workforce.

No. To qualify for our program, students need a minimum of a 2.5/4.0 GPA, complete the application which includes a professor, counselor, or principal recommendation.

Yes! We hire one site coordinator (an intern position) who happens to be an upper class student. They are usually well-versed in the campus community, resources, and offices of support. They also serve on our Student Advisory Council which informs GRAAHI and our community partners about student experiences on their way to working in the healthcare field.

While we want to be everywhere and support all of our students interested in becoming a healthcare professional, we must first be sure our program is a good fit for your school. Send us an email to let us know you want us there, and we will take the next steps to see if a partnership is possible.
