Healthcare Education Week: Empowering Tomorrow's Healthcare Heroes

GRAAHI’s Healthcare Education Week, October 7-11, 2024, is a week-long immersive program kicking off National Health Education Week. This innovative initiative supports Pathways to Healthcare Careers’ Junior Pacesetters (grades 6-8) and Pacesetters (grades 9-12), introducing them to the vast and rewarding world of healthcare careers.

Healthcare Education Week offers a dynamic blend of interactive experiences, including:

  • Mock Career Fair: Pacesetters take ownership by hosting an interactive showcase of various healthcare careers for Junior Pacesetters, fostering mentorship and role modeling.
  • Expert-led panels: Participants attend GRAAHI’s concurrent Health Disparities Summit, gaining insights from professionals discussing the impact of social determinants of health on outcomes and the importance of diversity in achieving health equity.
  • Guest speakers: Healthcare professionals share their career journeys, inspiring students and providing relatable role models.

This dedicated week of activities is focused on helping inspire the educational and career aspirations of:
